Between expanding the store, moving to a new workshop in Bridgeport, and taking care of all the custom orders on the calendar, we really just have way too much time on our hands. So we’ve decided to take on another project—renovating a gutted, 1960’s 12-foot pullalong trailer. This has been a dream of ours for a while, and we are super pumped to see it transform. We’ll be sure to post during- and after-renovation photos. We’ve got big plans for our new home on wheels, possibly a drive cross-country next summer, trailing behind the Renegade craft fair tour.
Tune in to the mountain chic episode to catch Raun in action, building a kitchen island out of salvages 2X4’s.
We’re so excited about our newest addition to the family—a 12-foot 1965 Forester pull-along trailer. We’re trying to get our gutted trailer done by mid-July, so we can take her on a maiden voyage across the country making stops along the way to sell our wares. Read on to see what we’ve done so far, and check back in to see if we make it!
This handmade custom king-size bed was crafted with a variety of species of reclaimed wood, including Douglas Fir and white and yellow pine. We love the rustic natural patchwork on the headboard, and the foot of the bed serves as a bench, perfect for putting your shoes on in the morning. Under the bench, there’s some additional storage, too. This custom piece now happily lives in an eco-friendly Oak Park home. After it was delivered and set up, the kids of the home, gave it the old jump test, and it passed with flying colors. Send us an email or give us a call if you’re interested in a custom made bed.
